Bohemian Rhapsody
Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see
I'm just a poor boy (Poor boy)
I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go
Little high, little low
Any way the wind blows
Doesn't really matter to me, to me
Mama just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life has just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooh
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters
Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye, everybody
I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, oooooooh (Anyway the wind blows)
I don't want to die
Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
[Guitar Solo]
I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me
(Galileo) Galileo (Galileo) Galileo, Galileo Figaro
Magnifico-o-o-o-o
I'm just a poor boy nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come, easy go, will you let me go?
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go
Let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go
Let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go
Let me go (Will not let you go)
Let me go (Will not let you go) (Never, never, never, never)
Let me go, o, o, o, o
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
(Oh mama mia, mama mia) Mama Mia, let me go
Beelzebub has the devil put aside for me, for me, for me!
So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here
[Guitar Solo]
(Oooh yeah, Oooh yeah)
Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to me
Any way the wind blows.
Steve walks warily down the street with the brim pulled way down low
Ain't no sound but the sound of his feet, machine gun's ready to go
Are you ready? Hey, are you ready for this?
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat?
Out of the doorway the bullets rip to the sound of the beat, Yeah
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone
And another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust
How do you think I'm gonna get along without you when you're gone?
You took me for everything that I had and kicked me out on my own
Are you happy? Are you satisfied?
How long can you stand the heat?
Out of the doorway the bullets rip to the sound of the beat (Look out)
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone
And another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust
HEY
Oh, take it
Bite the dust
Bite the dust yeah
Hey
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust, oh
Another one bites the dust, hey, hey
Another one bites the dust, heeeeey
Oh, shoot out
There are plenty of ways you can hurt a man and bring him to the ground
You can beat him, you can cheat him
You can treat him bad and leave him when he's down
But I'm ready, yes I'm ready for you
I'm standing on my own two feet
Out of the doorway the bullets rip, repeating the sound of the beat. Oh yeeeah
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone
And another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust
Shoot it
Hey
Alright
I want to break free
I want to break free
I want to break free from your lies
Youre so self satisfied I don't need you
Ive got to break free
God knows God knows I want to break free
Ive fallen in love
Ive fallen in love for the first time
And this time I know it's for real
Ive fallen in love yeah
God knows God knows Ive fallen in love
Its strange but it's true
I can't get over the way you love me like you do
But I have to be sure
When I walk out that door
Oh how I want to be free baby
Oh how I want to be free
Oh how I want to break free
But life still goes on
I can't get used to living without living without
Living without you by my side
I don't want to live alone hey
God knows got to make it on my own
So baby can't you see
Ive got to break free
Ive got to break free
I want to break free yeah
I want I want I want I want to break free....
Evaluation- i personally like queen because of the amount of power you feel when you listen to their songs. their songs are some of the most famous, many of their albums have gotten to the number one hits list around the world, and some of those stayed there for a long time. Queens music can relate to almost anyone, like their single "somebody to love" or "your my best friend" we can all relate the the meanings of those songs, we all try to find love, and we all need someone beside us when we cant find love, (a best friend). Queen related to its audince and they made it feel like the audience was in the hearts of queen and almost lets the audience into their personal lives. I love some of their songs, and they are great ways to get a group of people excited for an event, like "we are the champions" and "we will rock you".
Bohemian Rhapsody- this song is bery interesting because it starts off and ends with a ballade rhythm, and in the middle, theres a medium rythem, and a fast rhythm. i think that in this song, they balanced their vocal and instrumental parts well, the guitar solos fit well in the song, and gave a good transition to the next part of the songs, they did a good job using guitar solos to lead into the next part of the song.
I enjoy listening to this song because it has so many different t musical styles in it, its rock, but its also sometimes conciderd as an opera.
Another one bites the dust- this song is fast pased and has a very excited rythem. it has an good balance in vocals and instrumentals, but it still feels a bit awakawrd when i listen to it, the way its put together just sounds a little messy and confused, but i think that that trait gives it character.
I Want to Break Free- this song has kind of a bouncy rhythm, and seems like it has more of a dance musical style, i havent really listend to this song till now and it sounds a little too scattered for my taste. Helpful Links- http://www.queenonline.com/home http://www.queenworld.com/
